On Aug. 7, a new day dawned for Parks and Recreation in San Angelo. With some discussion, deliberation and disagreement, the City Council passed ordinances creating a Parks and Recreation Advisory Board and clarifying the role of the Park Commission. The council also repealed ordinances creating the Recreation Advisory Board and the Senior Services Advisory Board.

The parks and recreation department is sponsoring a day trip to Foxwoods Resort Casino on Monday, Nov. 12th. This trip is open to everyone 21 years of age or older.
