Position Description
Information Technology is seeking a highly motivated,
experienced individual to lead and manage portal development for applications in bioinformatics, health sciences data and healthcare
analytics. Oversee the installation, maintenance and problem analysis on operations system hardware and software across all enterprise
systems and act as Project leader on high level projects. Position will provide technical project leadership for development of innovative
applications of portal technology, including integration of custom applications and dynamic content identification, isolation and resolution
of complex enterprise academic and research computing systems incidents, including operating systems, storage, networking, and applications.
Perform configuration, management, and maintenance of IBM power based virtual and physical server infrastructure.
Oversee and manage system availability, system performance, capacity planning and system tuning for all university Storage Area networks and email systems. Assist Data Center Manager in data center facilities operations and management. Employ industry best practices for data center management, layout, and physical security. Perform problem identification, isolation, analysis and troubleshooting for complex enterprise academic and research computing systems, including operating systems, storage, networking, and applications. Position requires an extensive background in ADF components, web technology and portal development, healthcare analytics and bioinformatics. (90016066)
